GIG: Opening night of Symphony Space's Fuse Project
Fuse Project is Symphony Space's new showcase for contemporary classical composition and performance. Tonight's program is all music for viola and viol -- everything from Renaissance greats like William Byrd to work by New York composer and frequent Sirota collaborator Nico Muhly, and the premiere of a commissioned piece by David Lang. Sirota will also interview Lang, as she does with many musical greats for her Q2 podcastMeet The Composer.
